After successful registration and login to the FreeCAD website - the right to write blogs has not been assigned to you yet.

Write your request to get this right (to write blogs) here in this topic - then we will add this right to you.

After that - click on the menu item "FreeCAD Blogs" and you will see a button "Add a new item in this category".

After clicking the specified button you will be switched to the writing mode.

Descriptions of the fields:
  1. Title: Name of your blog
  2. Title alias (URL) address url = simplified original name and spec.symbols. Note: If you do not add this alias - it will be created automatically.
  3. Category: Select "Blogs"
  4. Featured?: Keep "No"
  5. Published: After selecting "Yes" blog will be shown to all visitors of this website
  6. Content: Text of your blog. Note: We will adjust blog formatting additionally (I)
  7. Image: You can add a picture
  8. Image gallery: inaccessible
  9. Media: You can add a video - even from YouTube or another video server (after selecting "Use online video service")
  10. Extra fields: inaccessible
  11. Attachments: You can add the appropriate attachment
Your blog you can additionally modify, and also you can control the comments on your blog
